BBC Bitesize - Modern Languages

Tentacle loves a BBC Bitesize project! This time around we did alot of learning ourselves! We collaborated with our good friends at Kino Bino, a Leicester based animation studio for this commission. We developed and produced 9 animations encouraging KS2 students to learn the basics of the French, Spanish and Mandarin languages.

The animations follow a song based narrative with karaoke style words on the screen to you sing along and reinforce the learning. Have a listen here, the catchy tunes definitely help the phrases stick in your mind! "nĭ hăo" and "à bientôt" were some of the many phrases echoing around the Tentacle Studio during production.
